Enhanced Code of Practice on Voluntary Dispute Resolution 2004
This code replaces the Code of Practice on Voluntary Dispute Resolution of 2000 and aims to enhance the effectiveness of the procedures which that Code had put in place. Its main aim is to provide an improved framework that has the full support of all the parties for the processing of disputes arising in situations where negotiating arrangements are not in place and where collective bargaining fails to take place. The Code of Practice was prepared in accordance with Section 42 of the Industrial Relations Act, 1990.
